STEERING COMMITTEE MEETINGS
The Steering Committee meets every other month to conduct most of the business of the Association (the balance is handled at the annual meeting of the general membership). The work it does is described below. The work of the Committee includes, but is not limited to the following: planning the Association's events and work parties, publishing a newsletter, maintaining this website, keeping records, soliciting new members, collecting dues, purchasing materials and services, applying for grants from the City, and making recommendations about policy to the general membership. Steering Committee meetings are conducted by the Association's president. They last about 90 minutes and take place in the home of a Committee member, with the location rotating among members. A record of every meeting exists in the form of minutes created by the Association's secretary. Those minutes are posted in the Records page of the TPNA website once they are formally approved by the Committee. (Last revised January 19, 2021) |
